I  love my dad because he makes yummy food, he helps me and I love him because he does everything.

At school i like playing lego and writing   Lucas.

Lucas copy typed his sentence. He sounded out a few sounds and remembered to put a space after each word. He used the new strategy of putting a check mark on each word as he copied. This helped him to keep track of where he was.

Lucas didn’t want to write about anything today. So, instead, he and Mrs. Morgan worked on typing his alphabet. Lucas typed each letter and put a space after it, just a pattern. Towards the end, Lucas was remembering that he needed to add a space after each letter. Nice work, Lucas :)

My name is Lucas. I love my family. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters .i have 4 dogs. The new dog is really scared. I like to  go to my nana and papa’s house.

Lucas needed some reminders to use spaces after his words .He recognized many numbers on his own and was able to identify some sounds needed for spelling. Lucas knows independently to add the letter S to make the ‘s’ sound at the end of a word. Lucas recognized some high frequency words and is good at checking the word predictor list from left to right, independently.
Lucas was very focused and wanted to write all his sentences on his own. Way to go, Lucas!
