Hello! My name is Jane Morgan and I teach an awesome class of students at Niagara Children's Centre School. My students are ages 6 to 16 and we have lots of fun through our learning. One of my favourite things about my students is how different they all are. Some use their voices to communicate, some use iPads and other technology and others use communication books. As well, some of our students walk in order to get from place to place, while others use a wheelchair or a walker. It has been so wonderful so far this year to see how well we are learning to work together, appreciate each others' differences and focus on what we CAN do, rather than on what we cannot.
This year, we are working and learning a lot about the environment and are trying to earn an Eco Schools Certificate for our school. We hope to share a lot about our progress and projects through our blog. Stay tuned!
When I am not teaching, I love being a mother to 3 incredible kiddies, Natalie, Charlie and Rachel. Both my school kiddos and my own kiddos keep me busy and make me feel very lucky each day :)
